Professional Series offers telescope tubes which meet the highest requirements. Only tubes that meet extraordinary standards regarding optical and mechanical quality are used. The ED telescopes for example captivate through their chroma and excellent contrast. The achromatic refractors are equipped with particularly high-quality lens-systems that are not comparable to “normal” Fraunhofers. All focusers used in this series are suitable for astrofotography. This series was knowingly build in a modular way, so the customer can custom-build his telescope out of our components.

The ED 80 by Astro Professional is the ideal travel scope for those who look for a high quality and lightweight optical system. The air-spaced ED doublet delivers true colours and high contrast without blue fringes. A 2" Crayford focuser with 1:10 dual speed transmission provides smooth and accurate focusing. And with the retractable dewcap, the transport length is only 44 cm.
Sophisticated design and materials!
Carbon fiber is not only lighweight, it has also a very small coefficient of thermal expansion thus guaranteeing focus stability even at changing temperatures.
Precise 2" Crayford focuser with 1:10 dual speed transmission!
Exact focusing is essential for astronomical imaging. A 1.25" reducer is included and also the 360° rotation capability for perfect framing. The drawtube as a mm scale on its upper side.
L-Socket for mounting on photo- and astronomical tripods
It contains two ¼" photo threads. So you can easily mount the telescope directly on a photo tripod or a dovetail rail for your astronomical mount. Alternatively, the socket can be removed if you want to use standard tube rings.

The Astro-Professional ED 80 APO is the ideal choice if you are looking for a travel-telescope, a guiding scope or a first class ED APO refractor. The ED doublet (2 lenses) air gap- objective offers brilliant color reproduction combined with very high contrast.
The 2” aluminium Crayford focuser with 1:10 reduction works very precisely so astrophotography or a stroll to the stars always become an amazing adventure.
Due to the retractable dust cap, the telescope is stowed away into its aluminium transportation box within seconds - protected from dust and impacts.
The main operational areas are astrophotography, Moon, Planet and terrestrial observations.
The finderscope is made out of high quality aluminium and has different lighting-levels so it can be used for both celestial and terrestrial observations.
The optional available 2” diagonal offers an 99° dielectric protection layer and 1/10 lambda surface accuracy.
The tube is equipped with a very precisely working 2” Crayford Focuser with 1:10 reduction. This focuser is high end and absolutely suitable for astrophotography. The ED 80’s big brother is the Astro-Professional ED APO 102 mm. This telescope adds the advantages of a 4” refractor to the ED optic.
The refractor is an allrounder - made for terrestrial, deep-sky and planet observations. Due to its Crayford focuser and the ED optic it is particularly suitable for astrophotography. The extendable dust cap makes this refractor easy to transport and the perfect choice for travellers.

After the both very successful ED 80 and ED 102, we now introduce our newest Astro-Professional refractor ED 110.
This telescope peaks out due to its very high overall quality standard, the realatively low price and its first class ED optics with reduced color error.
The retractable dew cap is equipped with a clamping screw to hold the cap securely.
Another new feature is the 2”, 2nd generation Crayford focuser, which was completely redone and now works even smoother than before and now has the ability to hold even heavy accessories safely. The focuser can be turned 360° and held in its position.
We offer the ED 110 in 2 versions. As OTA with tube rings and mounting plate for the most commonly used mounts and as Deluxe Edition with a quality transport case and a red dot finderscope.
Sharp design: The high quality white paint with a glossy mother-of-perl effect gives this telescope a one of a kind finish. The rings and caps in blue-metallic set nice accents toghether with the engraved
